STORM DAMAGE CLEAN-UP AND EMERGENCIES
The ice storms, hurricanes, and storms that are common to this area can wreak havoc on trees and pose a hazard to people and structures around them. Keeping your trees healthy is the best defense to storm damage, but sometimes nature will still prevail.
We are equipped to safely and quickly assist with clean up and repair of storm damaged trees.
Some things to keep in mind when choosing who will work on the trees on your property:
- Get at least a couple of estimates to compare before choosing who you will hire.
- Check for Worker’s Compensation and General Liability Insurance Certificates. Injuries or damage caused by uninsured companies may be your responsibility.
- Do not let workers use spikes to climb on trees that will not be completely removed. If the trees are staying on your property, you want them to be as healthy as possible. Climbing live trees with spikes is not acceptable to keep the trees you have left healthy.
- If you are unsure of the structural integrity of a tree, get an opinion from an ISA Certified Arborist and if possible have Certified Arborists doing the recommended work.
