TREE REMOVAL AND STUMP GRINDING

Although tree removal is usually a last resort, there are circumstances when it is necessary. We can help decide whether a tree should be removed or if another course of action is appropriate. If the tree is already dead or rapidly declining the sooner it is removed the better. Removal projects are all different and some require experience and highly technical skills such as managing utility line hazards, nearby structures, complex rigging, or the use of cranes.

Our arborists have the skills and equipment to safely remove difficult and hazardous trees.

Our estimates for tree removal include the removal of all brush and debris from site and we take pride in our goal of minimizing impact to surrounding vegetation. Once a tree has been removed, we can grind the stump for you and assist with species selection and planting of a replacement tree.

Duke University tree removalThe image to the left shows a hazardous tree removal we worked on at Duke University.

We used advanced rigging techniques to safely lower limbs near the building.

Decaying tree removal processThis client has a beautiful stand of mature oaks on his property. Unfortunately, this tree was decaying from the inside and was lacking the majority of its heartwood.

We are now focused on managing the remaining trees and incorporating new ones into the landscape where appropriate.
